Once a week my dog and I create a new image.  Chloe, an energetic bundle of Aussiedoodle fluff, loves our time together. Maybe it’s the adventure? Most likely it’s the treats. Either way this project strengthens our bond while expanding my creative skills. 

I started Here Dog (originallly called My Weeklyl Paws) because I wanted to intentionally engage with Chloe in a meaningful way. Life is so busy and the weeks fly by. Her time on this earth is short. I don’t want the days to turn into weeks, the weeks into years, and then her time here to be gone. I wanted to make sure that our life together would be  more than just feeding and daily walks. 

It’s important to share that when I started Here Dog, my cat, Buster, was strategically elusive. (Very cat-like!). But lately he wants in on the action. His amazing whiskers are as fun to capture as Chloe’s ever-changing expressons and energy. He’s been showing up on this project lately. Maybe I’ll have to rename it Here Dog & Cat?
